A prestigious G-SHOCK MR-G entirely in steel also suitable for the sea: the new MRG-BF1000, coated in titanium, with an ISO water resistance of 20 bar, joins the real diving watches of the FROGMAN family. This MR-G dive watch has a unique asymmetrical design and screw-down case back. Additionally, the caseback features FROGMAN’s signature underwater frog character.
Originally produced in resin, this timepiece has been remade in titanium, with each component meticulously machined for a high-quality, completely new appearance. The watch is constructed with a complex combination of over 70 external components, including a waterproof O-ring that provides exceptional FROGMAN water resistance and special pads that reinforce the shock-resistant structure, all while maintaining the beauty of the form for which the MR-G line is known.
For greater resistance, we have developed a protective structure with fluorinated rubber pads installed between the various parts of the bezel. This structure comes with a dial protection feature that helps absorb shocks on the front and sides, as well as protect the glass.
The clock module is equipped with a gold-plated locking plate. The screw-down caseback features sapphire crystal processed with a red vapor deposition technique and engraved with the FROGMAN diving frog.
The titanium band is finished with a deep layer hardening process and DLC coating. The strap is also extendable, so it can also be worn over a wetsuit. Not only aesthetically beautiful, this watch also offers many features.
Equipped with Bluetooth®, the hour and minute hands overlap and work to form a single hand in dive mode, showing the minutes spent underwater easily and intuitively and clearly visible. Download the dedicated app to pair it with your smartphone and easily view sea data for over 3,000 locations around the world.
