From G-SHOCK, which constantly evolves in search of robustness, comes G-STEEL with “Layer Guard Structure”. By using different materials for the bezel and a two-layer structure, shock resistance is improved. When using metal (stainless steel) at the top of the bezel, a shock-absorbing resin is applied to the bottom; conversely, when using resin on the top, a fine resin is combined on the bottom to absorb shock from above, allowing for greater design flexibility.
This model features Multi-Band 6 technology, which supports signals from six transmitters around the world, and Tough Solar functionality. It also features a push-button hand retract function that temporarily moves the hour and minute hands to make the LCD display easier to read. Dual LED lighting illuminates the dial brightly.
