FULL METAL – Il DW-5000C è il modello G-SHOCK originale del 1983. La serie GMW-B5000 ha ereditato il suo caratteristico design squadrato, ricostruendolo interamente in acciaio inossidabile insieme a funzioni aggiornate, tra cui il collegamento smartphone. L’orologio è stato dotato di una cassa completamente in metallo utilizzando un materiale ammortizzante in resina fine resistente agli urti, inserito tra la cassa e la robusta lunetta. La tecnologia di montaggio ad alta densità consente inoltre all’orologio di mantenere le sue dimensioni. La parte posteriore dell’orologio è dotata di una vite di bloccaggio ed è stata trattata con trattamento DLC per resistere all’usura. Anche la visibilità è stata migliorata tramite l’uso di una cella solare a pellicola e STN-LCD (cristalli liquidi). Dal punto di vista delle funzionalità, questo modello viene fornito con tecnologia Bluetooth® e può collegarsi con un’applicazione dedicata per ottenere informazioni precise sull’ora.
